WEDC Receives ISO 9001:2000 / AS9100B Certification

Company’s Four Facilities Specialize in Manufacturing and Environmental Testing for Defense, Aerospace and Commercial Applications

Phoenix, Ariz. – August 16, 2007 – White Electronic Designs Corporation (NASDAQ:WEDC) today announced it has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 / AS9100B certification, demonstrating the company's conformance with internationally accepted quality standards for the commercial, defense and aerospace market segments.

AS9100B consists of the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 standard plus additional requirements that are common within the aerospace industry, including: configuration management, provisions for planning and measurement of key characteristics, material traceability, control of process nonconformities and first article inspection.

In addition to ISO 9001:2000 / AS9100B status, WEDC has received Class K certification for its Phoenix, Arizona facility, the highest reliability level prescribed by MIL-PRF-38534. In 2007, the company received the James S. Cogswell Award, the most prestigious honor in the industrial security field.
