WEDC Receives Underwriters Laboratories Inc (UL) Approval for its SimTouch™ Keypads
Phoenix, AZ—May 1, 2006—White Electronic Designs Corporation (NASDAQ:WEDC), a leading supplier of industrial keypad and electronic systems, has received notification of approval from Underwriters Laboratories Inc (UL) for use of the UL recognition mark on its SimTouch™ keypad products.
SimTouch keypads are designed to create the light touch of capacitive touch switches at a fraction of the cost. Using WEDC’s innovative conductive ink switch technology, SimTouch enables designers to create user interfaces limited only by their imagination. Light actuation force switches have become a characteristic of elegant product design, thereby creating competitive advantage.
