- 1951: Edward White founded Bowmar Instrument Corporation
- 1963: Bowmar Instrument Corporation was listed on the American Stock Exchange as with the trading symbol BOM
- 1971: Bowmar Instrument Corporation invented and introduced the first handheld calculator known as the “Bowmar Brain”
- 1980: Acquisition of Custom Devices, a supplier of a variety of analog, power and other custom hybrid devices. The name was changed to White Technology, Inc.
- 1986: White Technology Inc. acquired Bowmar Instrument Corporation
- 1988: White Technology became one of the few companies with its facility certified and qualified to MIL-STD-1772
- 1993: Hamid Shokrgozar became the new President of White Technology, Inc.
- 1994: White Technology Inc. became White Microelectronics
- 1998: The merger of White Microelectronics and Electronic Designs, Inc. creates White Electronic Designs Corporation (WEDC) and establishes WEDC as a leading provider of semiconductor packaging and hi-performance memory products supporting sophisticated end-user applications telecommunications and data communications markets and one of the largest providers of memory products to the US Military
- 2001: WEDC acquired Panelview, Inc. a top supplier of enhanced industrial LCD display systems based in Portland, Oregon. This integration of rugged displays expanded our market reach within the defense & aerospace sector
- 2003: WEDC acquired Interface Data Systems, Inc (IDS) based in Phoenix, Arizona, a design manufacturer of membrane and elastomer keypads, graphic overlays and innovative biosensors for original equipment manufacturers
- 2007: White Electronic Designs receives Class K certification for its Phoenix, Arizona manufacturing facility as well as AS/9100 certifications for its four manufacturing facilities
