Job Summary
Under limited supervision, performs a variety of routine and some non-routine inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Inspects in-process, in-coming and/or finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards.
Working from blueprints, engineering change notices, or established operating procedures determines acceptance, rejection or rework requirements of unit.
Prepares and maintains inspection reports and records.
Enters vendor yields and runs vendor yield report.
Regular attendance is required.
May occasionally be required to work overtime.

Production Control Manager
Job Summary
Under general supervision, responsible for directing the production plans and schedules needed to meet delivery requirements. Develops, implements, and approves items such as material requirements, planning systems, work-in-progress tracking, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance reporting. Analyzes daily production reports and advises management of anticipated output problems such as shortages, engineering changes, equipment failures, and cancellation of orders. May conduct special studies relating to effect cost reduction and yield improvements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develops and implements material requirements, planning and scheduling systems, inventory levels, and work-in-progress tracking.
Manages Production Control Department. Establishes performance objectives, monitors fulfillment of goals, and conducts performance appraisals.
Interacts with quality assurance, purchasing, sales, production, stockroom, and engineering to ensure product movement to meet promised delivery requirements.
Identifies opportunities for improvement in cross-departmental processes and coordinates activities to refine information flow.
Works with Information Technology to enhance usage of ERP system for planning activities.
Maintains and monitors shipping goals, inventory levels, on-time delivery, and production rates. Adjusts resources as needed to accomplish objectives.
Supervises designated employees: communicates expectations; monitors and appraises job results; counsels and disciplines as needed; provides appropriate training and development; interviews applicants and selects new employees; monitors attendance.
Knows and follows the companys human resources policies and procedures. Adheres to applicable employment laws.
Exemplifies and fosters teamwork within the company. Promptly responds to concerns, issues, and suggestions and acts to ensure positive employee relations.

Test Operator
Job Summary
Under direct supervision conducts routine and repetitive tests on circuits, components, and electronic units using established test procedures.

Responsible for performing routine tests using 1 to 2 automated test equipment to ensure production quality standards are met.
Maintains documentation on test results.
