Supply Chain Analyst
Job Summary
Responsible for providing support and guidance in the development and execution of sourcing strategies to ensure quality procurement processes are completed efficiently and effectively. This role will be involved in training on a sourcing process, ensuring compliance to the process, and guiding the Buyer/Planner team through the standard sourcing process. This role will also require participation on cross-functional teams to leverage internal knowledge of the strategic sourcing process, while challenging historical practices to drive savings through the sourcing process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide tactical and strategic direction to Buyer/Planner team on sourcing process and ensure best-practice implementation.
• High degree of understanding of sourcing and procurement, including: capital equipment, services, and materials such as semiconductors, semiconductor packaging materials, silicon wafer and die, substrates, passive, electromechanical, interconnect, and related MRO items and appropriate suppliers and their offerings.
• Performing and supporting sourcing activities
• Learn and assist the Manager of Strategic Sourcing to manage the company’s strategic sourcing process.
• Support and provide guidance for negotiation and preparation of bids, request for proposals, requests for quotes, sealed bids, auctions, alternative bidding, and proposals, including specifications, supporting analysis, comparisons, and other required documentation.
• Manage multiple sourcing projects.
• Support and review of multiple sourcing requirements and provide recommendations to Buyer/Planner and engineering teams.
• Create summary reports to use for bid analysis.
• Provide project management support for teams to set and meet project timelines and goals.
• Support and guide Buyer/Planners in developing and executing sourcing strategies.
• Provide support for category team leads to complete sourcing templates required for bid process execution.
• Manage central repository of bid documents and pricing agreements.
• Raise any potential sourcing issues to the appropriate parties as necessary.
• Create innovative ways to work, and build teams that include; Planning, Finance, IT, Engineering and Suppliers.
• Participate in new product development and part transition processes as you develop skills in a cross-functional environment
• Collect data on supplier performance to prepare and present reports
• Identify internal process improvement opportunities and drive change to improve inventory turnover
• Review, update and implement standard work to support ordering and inventory management functions
• Knows and follows the company’s human resources policies and procedures. Adheres to applicable employment laws.
• Exemplifies and fosters teamwork within the company. Promptly responds to concerns, issues, and suggestions and acts to ensure positive employee relations.
• Regular attendance is required.

Skills & Abilities
• Experience and skill developing, negotiating and administering contracts.
• Experience with tier-one ERP platforms such as JD Edwards, Oracle, or SAP.

Education/Experience Requirements
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management and 3 – 5 years experience with sourcing direct & indirect materials and services.
Level of Supervision
• Currently this is not a supervisory role.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and be able to use a keyboard and 10-key for moderate to long periods of time.
• Regularly required to use hands to handle or feel.
• Vision requirements include close vision.
• Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, bending and lifting (maximum 20 lbs).
• May be exposed to general office working conditions, which include exposure to florescent lights and may include risk of radiation from computer monitor.

Production Supervisor (Test Dept)
Job Summary
Under general supervision, responsible for complex part and board testing processes utilizing automated test equipment as well as manual processes. Responsible for work schedule generation, multi-shift prioritization, production execution and other operations as required.
Provides leadership and training to multi-shift team. Ensures team achieves company performance metrics and is trained on required production operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensures teams execute the assigned production schedules
• Ensures team has all training required to perform their job.
• Ensures team is operating in a safe manner and environment.
• Responsible for tracking attendance job performance, and progressive discipline of operators assigned to him/her.
• Responsible for maintaining continuous flow of communication/status information among operators on multiple shifts and areas.
• Responsible for creating, maintaining and communicating test performance metrics quarterly.
• Ensures quality of product to include conformance to designated process controls and written procedures.
• Reviews programs and assists engineering with programming and profiling. Assists with writing and reviewing Test processes and procedures.
• Ensures processes and equipment remain within acceptable company manufacturing standards. Ensures required preventive maintenance is performed on a routine basis. Completes Lockout/Tagout on equipment as necessary.
• Performs quality auditing functions.
• Reads and interprets manufacturing routers, writes ECNs, and documents production results.
• Regular attendance is required.
• May occasionally be required to work overtime.

Education/Experience Requirements
• Typically requires a four year college degree and at least three years’ related supervisory experience in a fast paced environment, preferably electronic or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• IPC-610 experience desired
• Experience on HP, Teradyne, or Megatest testing equipment desired.
• Experience working with Kaizen, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, 5S and Lean Manufacturing desired.

Level of Supervision
• This position is responsible for the supervision of test personnel across multiple shifts.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
• Regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms and use hands to handle or feel.
• Frequently required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance.
• May be required to lift up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Vision requirements include close, distant, depth perception, color and ability to adjust focus.

Procurement Specialist
Job Summary
Under limited supervision, carries out broad assignments involving the purchase of services and supplies necessary for the operations of an organization. This position is an entry-level position focused on various MRO, shop supplies, tooling, and services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Analyzes purchase requirements/materials.
• Checks requisitions for completeness and accuracy.
• Obtains quotations and examines bids.
• Works with accounting to resolve invoice problems, claims and complaints.
• Resolves any discrepant material issues.
• Expedites and validates delivery dates on MRP reports/open orders.
• Ensures an MSDS is requested for all chemicals and chemical samples ordered.
• Regular attendance is required.
• May occasionally be required to work overtime.
