WEDC designed and produces the Audio Control Panel; which is the pilot’s interface to the audio system on Boeing’s 747 commercial aircraft.
We successfully integrate numerous capabilities in this complex avionic lighted keyboard assembly; including machining of plastic and metal components, illuminated panel, key, and switch legends and indicators, sunlight readable – dead front annunciators, cable assembly, circuit card assembly, and finishing (paint, conformal coat).
WEDC performs a complete functional test of each unit as well as comprehensive photometric tests.
